It is fantastic that AI companies can freely scrape copyrighted stuff from the Internet, but downloading of `youtube-dl` is illegal in the whole EU, because Hamburg regional court said so .. 🤦‍♂️

Available in Linux, where you can have sources too, and you can compile it may be.
But it's easier to run Linux in VM if you use another OS.

@lautre @Gigoince thanks, I am on Linux and I already found a way to do what I wanted (to download and cut a short sound clip for a kid's school project), it's just that this "situation" and the whole double standard somewhat annoys me :P
