Shut up! Just shut up!

You’re killing the place. You’re the reason why nobody new wants to join and many people are leaving.

Sometimes I’m afraid that it is even your goal. You want us to leave so the Fediverse can be back to being a circlejerk of a few thousand people who think they’re social justice warriors because they’re sharing the same outrage at everything over and over again and calling out people who don’t think exactly like you.

I'm sure you or your family members do the same (don't do drugs, don't do crime, don't be a racist, don't vote for the bad guy or something along the lines)
and if you don't, are you really the better person? a friend doesn't let a friend do something they would regret

@albi There is a difference between giving advice to loved ones and preaching, chastising and even attacking strangers because they’re not doing what you want them to do.

But if you don’t want to see it, fine.

@fredbrooker I block too, but this is not really about me or you, but about how they’re hurting the Fediverse as a whole.

Remember how we were growing a year ago, how we were the future of social media, or even the internet as a whole?

Where is it now? Sure they’re not the only ones responsible, but… They share a big part of the blame when you read what people not using the Fediverse have to say about the Fediverse.

And ironically, now, the only one who can put the Fediverse on the map again is Threads.
