I don't know if anyone else gets anxious about phone calls but a little tip I've learned is: if there is a phone call that I don't want to make, before I start dialing the number, I carefully hold the phone in my hand & toss it gently into a lake. I hope this advice helps others.

Možná je čas popřemýšlet, zda nezálohovat důležitá videa z youtube. Totiž může se stát něco podobného co Twitteru. Nikoli "Musk", ale třeba burzovní meltdown celých těch přefouknutých Big Tech firem s fatálním dopadem na jejich služby.

Pro zálohování YT se hodí buď 1) konzolový nástroj youtube-dl (či yt-dlp) nebo 2) v mobilu aplikace NewPipe, která umí ukládat videa nebo jen zvuk - super featura BTW, nebo 3) nainstalovat si vlastní instanci Peerube, kde jde videa z YT importovat na dvě kliknutí.

Mozna bychom meli konecne zacit premyslet, proc nas volebni system nejvic laka hajzliky a ty nejlepsi lidi odpuzuje. Mozna bychom konecne mohli zacit premyslet, jak to zmenit.

I was explaining Mastodon to my wife and how it's different from other social media sites. I explained that I find it to be an inclusive, welcoming place. I explained that nearly everyone I follow is either gay or neurodiverse or trans or disabled. I explained that it's the first place I feel like I can actually really be myself and that people here are welcoming and supportive of me being myself. And that's why I've been so happy lately. She said "why don't you tell them that?" and I said ok!
